Chances are, we will see him not only in his human form but as well as in his reptilian form, also known as the Lizard. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is rumored to be in development. In the ending of Miles Morales Spider-man, Curt Conners was seen with Norman Osborn releasing Harry from his stasis pod. As such, a batch of side quests centered on Wraith could be memorable. While there is a case for Wraith to be playable, as she will likely not be aggressive towards Spider-Man at first, she could make for a great boss fight due to her fear gas and threads. Disappointed with the legal system due to the deaths of her fellow officers, players can expect her to wear a purple and gold suit in the next game. Set up during the City That Never Sleeps DLC, Yuri Watanabe will become Wraith, a Punisher-like anti-hero that takes a lethal approach when fighting crime. Peter’s other foe will be particularly interesting, as she is one of the newer Spider-Man antagonists from the comics. While the character is not strong enough to carry an entire story like Doctor Octopus, he is perfect for a set of side missions. Assuming that there is still some kind of connection between the two, a fight could come with some extra emotion, as Peter may try to subdue The Lizard without hurting him. The Lizard is a great Spider-Man villain, and while it is unclear if Peter’s former teacher will have the same origin story in the games, it is possible. While Insomniac Games could have chosen any scientist to assist Norman Osborn with Harry’s care, it specifically chose the man that would become The Lizard. Though he could only be a cameo in the main story, the fact that Curt Connors features in the Spider-Man: Miles Morales post credits scene should not be overlooked. While Insomniac has only set up one threat for Miles, Peter Parker will likely have two things to deal with while he faces off with Venom.
With Miles still fresh to the hero gig, Fisk could be a nice steppingstone for him, teaching Miles some valuable lessons that he can use in the rest of his career. This encounter should also appeal to fans of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, as Kingpin served as the main antagonist in the award-winning animated film. If the villain gets access to Miles’ identity, Peter’s protege may have bitten off more than he can chew. Seeing Miles involved in a personal conflict with Fisk could be intriguing, as Kingpin has been able to ruin the life of fellow hero Daredevil in the comics.
With the young webslinger slipping up and confirming that he lives in Harlem, Fisk could easily track down Rio and Ganke. While on The Raft, Fisk talks directly to Miles, threatening his family. Teased during the side missions of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the hero eventually finds out that Wilson Fisk is continuing to run New York’s gangs from prison. Still, it should be interesting, as a conflict with Kingpin is on the horizon. Starting off with Miles, fans only know of one thing to expect from his next adventure. Miles Morales’ Side Story In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 RELATED: How Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Could Improve on Miles Morales' Open World With Miles’ solo adventure featuring a set of side missions that will likely carry over to the next game, players can expect to see at least three different stories addressed alongside the Symbiote. The DLC for Marvel’s Spider-Man sets up a potential side quest threat, as does the post credits scene for Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
However, while fans know to expect two Spider-People and the Symbiote in the next game, those who have paid attention to the story can make some guesses as to what the side content will include. Alongside all of this, many are likely hoping to see some fun new features in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Alongside the arrival of Spidey’s terrifying nemesis, the next game has two playable superheroes to juggle, with fans hoping to have plenty to do as both Miles and Peter. Insomniac has teased the debut of the Symbiote suit and, by extension, Venom. Marvel’s Spider-Man fans already have a lot of expectations for the sequel.
